The genie of the “Aladdin and the magic lamp” tale, that familiar evil.
The genie’s hands extirpate themselves from their confinement and emerge. The paradox of the familiar strangeness that brings hope as well as transgression.
That which was perceived as pleasant becomes disturbing.
The disturbing strangeness of that which we repress that finds its runaway out of the lamp.

Le génie du conte “Aladin ou la lampe merveilleuse”, ce démon familier. Les mains du génie s’extirpent de leur enfermement et refont surface. Le paradoxe de l’étrange familier porteur d’espoir et de transgression. Ce qui était sympathique devient inquiétant.
L’inquiétante étrangeté de tout ce que nous refoulons qui trouve une échappatoire dans la lampe.
Renversement.

El genio del cuento “Aladino y la lampara maravillosa”, ese demonio familiar.
Las manos del genio se extirpan a su encierro y surgen a la superficie. La paradoja de lo extraño familiar que comporta esperanza y transgresion.
Lo que era simpatico se convierte en inquietante. La inquietante extrañeza de todo lo que reprimimos que encuentra una escapatoria en la lampara.
Inversión.
